Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Mailcut collects and how it is used.
Data we collect
Account data (email, name, language, optional company and address), usage data (checks made, files uploaded, API calls), technical data (IP address, browser) and payment references from Paddle. We do not store card numbers; Paddle handles payments.
How we use it
To run your account, produce your verification results, prevent abuse, send service emails (activation, receipts, security) and answer support requests.
Email lists you upload
Lists are used only to return your results. The files you upload, the result files we create and the list itself are deleted from your account 14 days after the check, so download what you need before then. We do not sell or share your lists.
After those 14 days we keep one record per email address in a results database: the address, the latest verification result, the dates it was seen and how many times it was checked. This record is not linked to your account or to your name. It helps us keep the verification service accurate, and it is accessible only to authorised staff. You can ask us to remove an address at [email protected].
Sharing
We share data only with the providers that help us run the service: Paddle (payments), SendGrid (email delivery) and DigitalOcean (hosting), and when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to sign you in and keep your session.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at [email protected]. You can close your account in the panel.
