These terms apply to your use of Mailcut ("the service"). By creating an account or buying credits you accept them.
The service
Mailcut checks email addresses and reports whether they appear able to receive mail. Results are based on public DNS data and live checks with the receiving mail servers. No verification service can be right for every address; results are given as best-effort information and some addresses will be reported as risky or unknown.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account, your API key and everything done with them. Do not share access or use the service to send unsolicited email.
Credits and payment
Credits are sold in packs. Each verified address uses one credit. Credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and unused credits expire after that. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, who collects applicable taxes.
Refunds
If something went wrong with a purchase, contact [email protected]. Unused credits of a purchase may be refunded; credits that have been used are not refundable.
Acceptable use
You may only upload addresses you are allowed to process. Do not use the service for harassment, harvesting or any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the credits concerned.
