Simple credit math

No plans to compare and nothing that renews by itself.

One address, one credit

Every address you check uses a single credit, whether you verify one or one hundred thousand.

12 months to use them

Credits stay valid for a full year from the day you buy them. The ones that expire first are used first.

Bigger pack, lower price

The more credits you buy at once, the less each check costs. Top up only when you need to.

From a messy list to a clean one

Four steps, a few minutes.

  1. 1

    Export

Save your addresses as a CSV, TXT or Excel file.

  2. 2

    Upload

Drop the file into your Mailcut account.

  3. 3

    Verify

Every address is checked and uses one credit.

  4. 4

    Send

Download the report and mail only the good addresses.

What every check looks at

Six layers of checks run on each address, so the result reflects how it behaves in real life.

Syntax and typos

Catches malformed addresses and common typos such as gmial.com before anything else.

Domain and mail servers

Confirms the domain exists and has mail servers set up to receive messages.

The mailbox itself

Asks the receiving server whether the mailbox exists. No message is ever sent.

Throwaway and role addresses

Flags disposable providers and shared inboxes like info@ or sales@.

Catch-all domains

Spots domains that accept everything, so you know which results are certain.

Clean reports

One Excel file with a result, a reason and what to do next for every address.

Every address gets a clear answer

ValidSafe to send.
InvalidWill bounce. Remove it.
Accept-allThe domain accepts anything. Send with care.
DisposableA throwaway address. Usually skip it.
UnknownThe server did not answer. Try again later.

Email verification questions, answered

What is email verification?

Email verification checks whether an email address can receive mail before you send to it. It tests the format, the domain, the mail server and, where possible, the mailbox itself, so you can remove invalid addresses and avoid bounces.

How does Mailcut verify an address without sending an email?

Mailcut checks the syntax, confirms the domain and its MX records, flags disposable providers and asks the recipient mail server whether the mailbox exists. The conversation stops before any message is sent, so the recipient never receives anything.

How much does email verification cost?

You buy credits in packs and every verified address uses one credit. Credits stay valid for 12 months and nothing renews by itself. See the pricing page for the current packs.

Is there a free option?

Yes. New accounts start with free credits, and you can check a single address on the home page without signing up.

Can I verify a whole list at once?

Yes. Upload your list file in the web app, watch results appear while it is processed, and download the cleaned results by status.

How long are my uploaded files kept?

Uploaded lists, result files and the bulk itself are deleted from your panel 14 days after they are created, so download your results within that time. Your credit usage stays in your account.

Is there an API?

Yes. An API for verifying addresses is available from the account area, for example to check addresses at sign-up.
